This hotel is very guest friendly. The breakfast was buffet style and excellent. There was a wide range of food choices and the view of Staubbach Falls, Jungfrau, Monk and Eiger while eating at your table was splendid. They also had a “picnic” room with microwaves, dishes and cutlery. This allowed you to “heat and eat” your own food. The staff was professional, always available and ready to assist. The rooms were very clean, spacious and the water pressure in the shower was great. If your room doesn’t have a balcony, no worries. There are public balconies on every floor. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel.

Amazing cozy apartment that made us feel at home. The apartment is right next to the bus stop and it is right in the middle of the valley with an amazing view. Reka was a super host to us and she helped us with our luggage while we waited for our next accommodation. We can’t wait to return!

The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful.
The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful. Small town with a cliff on both sides. Very scenic. Murren and Shilthorn the Ski Attractions are accessible through Lauterbrunnen. Nice cosy hotels and wonderful food and friendly people is what Lauterbrunnen offers. Its very close to the wonderful town Wengen (20 min via train) which is at a Hill top opposite to Lauterbrunnen and connects to Jungfrau - The Top of Europe. Lauterbrunnen is a must visit town if one is visiting Switzerland and wants to enjoy a very scenic and less crowded experience.

The place view is beautiful especially the Staubacch Falls. The property manager is very helpful he was very detailed about entering to the property. If you have questions or problems you can easily contacted him via phone or WhatsApp and he will answer your call right then.

Lauterbrunnen is perfect if you prefer to be in a quiet and...
Lauterbrunnen is perfect if you prefer to be in a quiet and low key spot versus some of the larger towns in the area. It is basically one street but has everything you need for a pleasant stay. The train station services everything in the area, and also has a lift to Murren. There are plenty of cafes, a supermarket and sports equipment stores. It's a lovely village.

Super easy to navigate around Lauterbrunnen, with frequent buses, cable cars, and trains available. Walking and hiking options are everywhere; trails for families or more experienced hikers. Friendly shopkeepers and the local grocery store (COOP) is open even on Sundays.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

All the staff that we encountered at the hotel was great and despite a small hiccup during our stay, they provided much assistance and did their utmost best to resolve the issue. The rooms were comfy, although a double bed would have been better than two twins. The fascilities are shared as it's a hostel, but they were clean and practical. Yes, it is older, but that is a huge part of the charm—to stay in the same hotel that the early scalers of the Jung Frau snd Eiger stayed. You have to make your own bed but it is a good measure to keep prices low. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! It is also very helpful that the hostel has its own carpark.
