Sankt Anton naar Lech
Dit onderwerp gaat over de bestemming Sankt Anton am ArlbergMet een groep van redelijke goede tot zeer goede skiërs gaan we in de 2e week van maart naar Sankt Anton. Ik heb ergens gelezen dat je via een ski route van Sankt Anton naar Lech kunt skiën.
Is deze route te doen voor een groep met redelijk goede Skiërs?
Volgens mij mag je die route enkel doen onder begeleiding van een officiële gids.
Je mag de lift naar de start van die route enkel nemen zonder ski’s, of onder begeleiding van een gids.
Start is boven aan Vallugalift.

Inderdaad, je raakt zelfs niet boven met je ski’s/snowboard als je niet over een gids beschikt.
En ik weet niet wat je verstaat onder “redelijk goede skiërs” maar dit zijn best heel goede skiërs want anders wordt je niet eens toegelaten dacht ik…

The label on the turnstile for the Valluga 2 lift tells the story – no skis allowed unless the owners are accompanied by a certified local guide. This rule is strictly enforced with the only other option of accesses the ridge at Valluga 2, on foot, or rather hands and knees. The steep slope that is used to circumvent these rules is steep and long. At the top, the Valluga 2 has a narrow and treacherous ridge that runs from the Valluga 2 lift station to the launch point of possibly the best off-piste terrain to be found anywhere in the Arlberg or beyond. This is a definite no-fall area whilst the steep moguls or deep powder beyond the rocks and also not the ideal place to get into difficulty. For those who attempt this ski route the initial drops are replaced by a long and great powder decent down into Zurs.
Het betreft de route Valluga-Pazieltal-Zurs (Zurs is verbonden met Lech)
Deze route is inderdaad alleen bereikbaar met officiele gids. En bovendien absoluut niet geschikt voor "redelijk goede" skiers.
